Nats affirm councils
PA Wellington A National Government
will abolish the Local Government Commission, says the Opposition spokesman on local government, Mr Warren Cooper.
“It is time for the challenge to be placed before local government to guide and build its own destiny based on local initiatives rather than direction from Wellington,” said Mr Cooper yesterday.
