Palestinians
Sir,—Those who use your columns to advance the widely different accounts of the tragedy of Deir Yassin would be best to accept the account of Mr Jacques de Reynier, the chief delegate of the International Red Cross. “Three hundred persons,” he said, “old men, women, children, newly born, were savagely assassinated with grenades and knives by Jewish troops of the Irgun, perfectly under the control of their chiefs. They were massacred without any military reason or provocation of any kind.” The Nazis have Lidice, the K.G.B. have Katyn and the Zionists have Deir Yassin. May they be indelible stains on their histories. — Yours, etc., J. MILLER. June 9, 1986.
