Coronet Peak opens
A new fali of snow has meant that the ski-ing season can begin at Coronet Peak tomorrow with all lifts operating apart from the Happy Valley poma. The poma still needs some maintenance work and will be in use in
another day or two. The Mount Cook Group’s other ski-field in Queenstown, The Remarkables, has also had a good fall, but will not open until the last of the contractors has departed towards the end of the month.
