Jetline for U.S.
Jetline, an impressive winner in the Meehan’s Pace on the second day of the recent Ashburton Club’s winter meeting, has been purchased by the Robert McArdle Standardbred Agency and he will travel to New York to join the stable which includes the top former New Zealand mare, Take Care. Jetline, which recorded the smart time of 3min 3.6 s when he beat Lucky Fling at Ashburton, was formerly trained at Ohoka by his part-owner, Bill
Bagrie. He had 24 starts in New Zealand for three wins and four placings.
Jetline is to be accompanied by a yearling halfbrother by Sir Dalrae to Tudela Bromac, which has taken a record of lmin 56.2 s on a half-mile track in North America. His dam, Tudela Bromac, was sold to the United States some 18 months ago. She has a foal at foot by the top Meadow Skipper horse, Computer, and is in foal to the same horse.
