N.Z. rider wins
NZPA London The New Zealander, Andrew Nicholson, riding Coribu, has won the intermediate class at the twoday Tweseldown horse trial in Surrey. The Olympic team member also took fourth on Fustian, the horse usually ridden by his wife, Jane.
Nicholson, formerly from Te Awamutu, and now based in Buckinghamshire, said he had high hopes for Coribu. He expected the horse to score enough points this year to qualify for advanced class, which would gain him entry to threeday events such as Badminton.
