Pacific Venture ‘don’t sell’
Pacific Venture Capital, Ltd, the venture capital company, yesterday issued a "don’t sell” notice to shareholders, the directors stating that negotiations were occurring which could affect the company’s future. The directors advised shareholders not to sell until a further announcement was made next week.
The company, formerly known as New Zealand Venture Capital Corporation, Ltd, was listed in April 1985. Investment Finance Corporation, Ltd, established a 29 per cent holding in the company last year.
Last month Pacific Venture reported a maiden profit of $463,000 for the six months to March 31.
