Officer to face charge
A Christchurch traffic officer will face a charge of dangerous driving when he appears in the District Court at Rangiora in August. The charge, laid by a Christchurch hotel-keeper, Bruce William Bellis, alleges that on January 18
John David Grant drove in a dangerous manner on State highway 1.
Grant made no appearance on the charge yesterday. Judge Sheehan remanded him at large, on a plea of not guilty, to August 13. • ,
