Chinese deal
Australian textile company MacQuarie Worsteds, Ltd, 50 per cent owned-by Industrial Equity, Ltd, has signed a SUSS.S million contract in Peking to build and operate a joint-venture yarn spinning mill with the Chinese Government. It is MacQuarie Worsted’s second big Chinese deal. The first was a SUS2.B million fabric mill built at Zhangzhou in China’s Fujian province.
