Du Plessis in raptures
NZPA correspondent Bloemfontein Morne du Plessis, the 1976 . Springbok captain New Zealanders loved to hate, was in raptures yesterday over the Cavaliers’ 31-9 win over Orange Free State. He said it was a tremendous win over a strong provincial side and warned South Africans the Cavaliers were coming right for the first “test” “The All Blacks showed us they not only play with their forwards, they also run with their backs,” du Plessis said. “We will long remember the visit by the All Blacks to Bloemfontein,” said the former South African captain.
