Clyde dam award talks adjourned
PA Dunedin The Clyde dam award talks have been adjourned indefinitely. The parties emerged at 5.45 p.m. on Tuesday after two days of talks. The conciliator, Mr Brian Gray, said the parties had applied for the adjournment which was sine die. Neither the employers’ advocate, Mr Mike Hanson, nor the union’s representative, Mr Calwin Fisher, would comment, except to say they would ’ be reporting back to their : members. The talks began on Monday. The Clyde dam construction employees’ com- ' posite agreement expired on February 28 and two ; attempts last month failed to find a settlement.
