CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH ANZAC DAY OBSERVANCE FRIDAY, APRIL 25, 1986 ALL CITIZENS OF Christchurcch are cordially invited to attend the Anzac Day Service to be held in Christchurch Cathedral on Anzac Day commencing at 10 a.m. The Anzac Day observance is being arranged by the Christchurch City Council in conjunction with the Christchurch Returned Services Association. This service will mark the 50th anniversary of the formation of the A.I.F. Association and the address will be given by Mr M. B. Edwards, J.P. of the Australian Returned Services League. The Chaplain for the day is the Roman Catholic Bishop of Christchurch the Most Rev. D. W. Hanrahan. Personnel entitled to decorations are Invited to wear them. Members of youth organisations are invited to attend in uniform. HAMISH HAY, Mayor.
