800kg of beef stolen
PA Timaru Prime beef valued at $6400 was stolen from a refrigerated truck that was parked on the Timaru waterfront during the week-end.
The 800 kg of meat in 32 cartons was removed after a door into the refrigerated compartment was forced. It was taken between 4 p.m. on Friday and Sunday morning, said the Timaru police.
