Junior Kiwis to be rivals
Two forwards who were Junior Kiwis team-mates in Australia only last season will be rivals when Canterbury defends the Rugby League Cup against Waikato at the Addington Show Grounds on Thursday night. Esene Faimalo is to make his provincial debut in the Canterbury frontrow, while his former team-mate, Tarewa Nikau, has already made a favourable impression as a Waikato second-row forward. The Waikato side is to be led by the centre, Pihama Green, while another New Zealand trialist, Neville Ramsay, will be at scrum-half.
