Minehan recovers
The 3ZB talkback host, Mike Minehan, is making a speedy recovery from illness and . hopes to be back at work in about three weeks. She collapsed during an interview on her show about a month ago, and was treated in hospital for a stomach ulcer. The evening talkback host says she is “feeling good and getting out in the garden.”
She hopes to get a medical clearance at the end of the month and be back at work soon after that. She will attend the Mobil Radio Awards ceremony in’ Auckland on Thursday evening. “Everyone’s been marvellous and I’ve been inundated with cards and letters,” she says. “You always fear you’ll be forgotten.”
