Range-hoods to hide away
A new range-hood, which can be hidden away when not used, has been produced by the Classique Appliances company. The “tilt-a-hood” pulls out to cover the cooking surface when needed, and pushed back behind what look like cupboard doors. Vaporised grease and steam are caught inside the large canopy and removed by the powerful, but quiet, three-speed turbo fan, A matching cupboard door is fitted to the front of the Classique “tilt-a--hood” to blend the rangehood into the existing kitchen decor. The “tilt-a-hood” features a micro-control which automatically starts, or stops, ventilation and lighting whenever the door of the hood is opened or closed.
There is an anti-draught flap which eliminates back-draught when the hood is not in use. The aluminium flame shield grease filter is easily removed for cleaning. There is also a fullwidth lighting panel which ensures excellent stovetop illumination. The quiet,, efficient, powerful three-speed turbo fan is another great advantage. The hood can be hidden behind your own choice of kitchen finish, and the opening, which allows two positions, forms a full canopy that ensures total capture of vaporised grease and cooking odours.
