Covic case dismissed
PA Auckland An application by Anthony Covic, a former Mayor of Waitemata City, for a retrial in a defamation hearing brought by him against New Zealand Newspapers and Waite-
mata’s City Mayor, Mr Tim Shadbolt, has been dismissed in consent at the High Court at Auckland. Mr Justice Henry reserved decision on costs.
