Two fined
An apprentice rider, C. W. Judd, was fined $5O for misconduct on the first day of the Nelson Racing Club’s meeting yesterday. The charge related to use of foul language. J. D. Hayes was also fined $5O for careless riding after the Rod O’Connor Maiden. Hayes’ mount, Callard, shifted outward when struck with the whip in the home straight affecting the chances of Zale and Cabalias.—PA.
