Anchor Ethanol produces and markets in New Zealand and internationally industrial and potable ethanol, with sales currently $7 million p.a. The company is the owner of two excellent modern plants in Tirau and Reporoa, with accounting/financial services in Hamilton. The General Manager is accountable to the Board for the profitable performance and development of the company, must attend to planning, policy determination, co-ordination and control of all functions. The principal focus of the job is marketing, including identification and penetration of new markets (particularly overseas), development of new products and their introduction. Substantial innovation is called for to achieve the major growth sought by the company. This position will appeal to an experienced, professional executive with a record of accomplishment at senior level in an industrial ingredients or raw materials marketing company.
