The position involves advising private clients on all aspects of both equity and fixed interest investments both in New Zealand and overseas. In addition some corporate work will be involved. JORDAN SANDMAN SMYTHE are looking for a candidate of the highest calibre who would naturally aspire to a position of responsibility in the firm. The appointee will typically be a graduate in accountancy, economics or commerce and it is expected that he or she will have travelled extensively. The appointee’s career path to date may have involved merchant banking, stockbroking or other appropriate fields of commerce. JORDAN SANDMAN SMYTHE place importance on leadership qualities, ability for original thought and self motivation. The successful candidate is expected to be in the 28 — 35 age group.
