Lochore’s denial
NZPA-AFP London Brian Lochore, manager of the overseas squad in Britain for the International Rugby Board celebration matches, continued to deny any involvement in an unofficial rugby tour of South Africa later this month. Lochore, the New Zealand coach and a former
All Black captain, has been mentioned as manager of a touring side in South Africa. “I have had no contact about this,” he said on Monday. “I don’t know anything about it and I don’t want to. My sole thoughts are concerned with our two matches this week.”
