Flute recital
A Christchurch flautist Pamela Keightley will give a recital in the Centre Gallery of the Arts Centre at 1.10 p.m. on Friday. Pamela Keightley began learning the flute when she was nine years old. She was a member of the National Youth Orchestra for three years, and completed a performance degree on flute at the University of Canterbury. She has been playing first flute in the Christchurch Symphony Orches-
tra for six years, and has performed for the Broadcasting Corporation of New Zealand. She is now a professional musician, teaching and performing in Christchurch.
Accompanying her will be local pianist David Vine. The programme will feature works by Quantz, Mozart, Honegger, and Chloe Moon.
