Madonna fires autograph seeker
NZPA-AAP London Madonna has fired a young Chinese film extra for asking her for her autograph The girl was sacked on the spot after she shyly asked the prima donna singer to sign her notebook. Newspapers have reported that the girl fled crying from the Surrey set of the movie “Shanghai Express.”
The incident is the latest in a series of rows which have disrupted filming at a disused lunatic asylum at Virgina
Water. The British press has been increasingly outspoken about Madonna’s behaviour.
According to “The Sun,” the "power-mad” pop star and “her fiery actor husband, Sean Penn, have made life a misery for everyone involved with the movie”.
One stage-hand reportedly told the newspaper:
"Everyone was told that if they asked for an autograph they would be instantly dismissed. This extra obviously didn’t get the message.” A “Sun” photographer was run down by the couple’s car and his ankle was injured when they tried to escape pressmen at Heathrow Airport last weekend.
