A Mid-Canterbury farmer has been elected this year’s international president of the Agricultural Exchange Association.

Mr John Winchester, of Hinds, the New Zealand A.E.A. president, was elected at the association’s internation conference at Vingsted, Denmark.

He was chosen from 16 of the association’s international board members.

His new job is a voluntary one, which will require up to four overseas trips during his year-long term.
