Flight Bijou strains tendon
PA Auckland One of New Zealand’s leading three-year-olds, Flight Bijou, has strained a tendon and will not race again this season. ; FUght Bijou was to have run at Ellerslie yesterday in preparation for a trip to Sydney and an AJC Derby start The trainer, Dave O'Sullivan, said Flight BijOu had slightly wrenched the offforeleg.
O’Sullivan said Flight Bijou would be turned out next week on a Matamata stud farm for , three months.
Flight Bijou is owned by Mr Russ Hinze, the Minister of Racing in Queensland.
