Wi Rutene’s slalom
PA Wellington A member of the New Zealand ski-ing team, Rotorua’s Simon Wi Rutene, has won the giant slalom in the FIS international ski-ing contest at Eben,. Austria.
Wellington’s Markus Hubrich was third, Matthias Hubrich fourth and Christchurch’s Graeme Goodwin fifth, the B.P. New Zealand team spokesperson said from Wellington.
