Sponsored stand at Royal show

in London New Zealand will have a Government-sponsored stand at the prestigious 1986 Kenilworth Royal Agricultural Show later this year. Twelve. New Zealand companies have already agreed-< to participate. They will exhibit a range of products from fencing and farm equipment to seeds and semen supplies. The Kenilworth Show, one of the two main agricultural fairs held in Europe each year, usually attracts 50,000 visitors a day from 120 countries. The 1986 show will be held from June 30 to July 3. The First Secretary (commercial) at the New Zealand High Commission in London, Mr Errol Slyfield, said participation in the show was seen as a significant venture. All New Zealand trade commissioners in Europe had reported on the potential for sales of New Zealand agricultural and horticultural equipment there, where huge markets existed The Kenilworth exhibit would be timely, too, because of changes of E.E.C. farm budgets, he said.
