The successful applicant will be required to establish techniques for the separation and Identification of urinary metabolites of selenium using HPLC methods and to carry out biochemical techniques for studying adaptation of New Zealand residents to their low selenium status. The applicant should have M.Sc., M.H.Sc., B.Sc.(Hons), Dlp.Sci. or B.Sc., preferably In biochemistry, chemistry or nutrition.
