Ties renewed
The Ivory Coast and the Soviet Union have resumed full diplomatic relations after an 18-year break. The Ivorian Government has established diplomatic ties with all Eastern bloc countries, as well as with North Korea and Cuba. Ivory Coast broke with Moscow in 1968 after accusing Soviet diplomats of meddling in its affairs. — Abidjan.
