McNamee outlasted his long-term doubles partner, Peter McNamara, in the final round on Saturday night to reverse a first set loss.

His 2-6, 7-6, 6-1, victory came after earlier wins over the New Zealander, Chris Lewis, and a fellow Davis Cup player, Wally Masur.
