NZPA-Reuter Scarborough Scarborough Fair, made world-famous thanks to an' English folk song recorded by the American pop duo, Simon and Garfunkel, will be revived after almost 200 years, says an entrepreneur. Mr Stefan Nyland said he hoped to raise £2 million ($5.28 million) to recreate the fair, last held in Scarborough, a northeast England seaside town in 1788. He planned to invite Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, who recorded the traditional song in the 1960 s but now do not sing together, to perform at the fair which he hoped to relaunch by the summer of 1987.
