“...a lovesome thing”
Sir,—My boyfriend and I wandered through, a . garden which won the main' prize in.the Canterbury Horticultural ' Society’s garden competitions a*: fortnight ago. We were thrilled to find a natural wonderland, including waterfalls, fernery, terracing, fuchsias galore, patios and brick paving everywhere. It was a revelation of- what a man can do to improve his surroundings. Usually we are left cold by the stark perfection of these winning gardens, but this was something else'. We feel privileged to share such a garden and felt others should know it is available for all Christchurch to see atTB Mathias Street — Yours, etc.,' KATHLEEN P. DAVID- < SON'. • ?"
