Harper signs
Roy Harper, the English musician, signed again with EMI Records a few days before setting out on a tour of New Zealand.
The musician may not be that well known in this country but EMI (New Zealand) have been trying to remedy that re-releas-ing the 1971 album, “Stormcock,” plus “What Ever Happened To Jug-
ula,” the 1985 album made with Jimmy Page, the former guitarist with Led Zeppelin. Another record re-released is the 1982 LP, “Work of Heart.”
Harper plays a show at the Carlton Hotel on Tuesday, followed by a concert at the James Hay Theatre next Thursday, as part of his New Zealand tour.
