Horseman to shift
PA Wellington John Cottle, New Zealand’s show jumping representative at the 1984 Olympic Games, will leave Wellington and move north to establish a base at Clevedon, south Auckland.
Cottle, who took his horse Arturo to the Los Angeles Olympic Games, his property at
Ohariu Valley and has bought 50 acres at Clevedon, and will lease another 50 acres adjacent to his own land. Cottle has plans to develop an equestrian centre on the new property, and ultimately increase the size of his team which has been restricted somewhat by the lackof room on his Valley land. £
