Personal investment management service
Personal investment management has specific appeal for two groups of investors — those people who are too busy to devote sufficient time to adequately manage their investments and those who feel they have insufficient knowledge to get the best out of their savings. In the past, personal
investment management has traditionally been restricted to very large investors. However, Warsand Fund Management, Ltd, has been established to offer personalised investment management to smaller investors with $25,000 or more in shares, fixed interest investments or savings accounts. John Leonardo, Fund Management Director with Warsand, explains: “Investors frequently have their own specific investment goals. Our personal service means that your savings are managed separately in accordance with your own investment goals, not lumped into a large, pooled fund.” Jordan Sandman Smythe, a major New .Zealand sharebroking firm, owns Warsand but the company is completely independent and uses a range of established investment options when managing clients’ investments. John Leonardo is in Christchurch to manage Warsand’s display on stand 26 at the Money Show, John, formerly Manager of Customer Investments for the A.N.Z. Bank, believes in the personal approach to investment management.
“Each client has their own primary investment objectives which are decided upon in conjunction wih the client and recorded. This has given us a broad depth of understanding as to what is worrying investors today
( and we use our full range of professional skills to make those worries disappear,” says John. “Investment today is such a complex subject that you need professional assistance to succeed. That is where Warsand comes in. We are here to help.”
