Great oaks from little acorns grow: this 1913 Fiat Zero has been entered in the Pan-Pacific Rally by Mr T. M. Wilson of South Canterbury. The Zero is an antecedent of the Fiat Uno, the latest example of which is among the cheapest European-assembled cars available in New Zealand. Fiat, the Italian industrial giant, is now one of Europe’s leading car-makers. Production is undertaken with the help of computers and robots.
