RUNANGA BOROUGH ... ■ COUNCIL - Public notice Is now given ! that at a meeting on February 17, 1986, the above committee ■ approved the following estim- • ates of Income and Expendl- . ture for the Dog Registration . period commencing on April . 1, 1986, and ending on March I 31, 1987. ’ Expenditure: J Salary and Wages .... $54,200 ■ Administration 8,900 • Vehicle Expenses 7,900 1 New Vehicle Purchases 24,400 Drug Purchases 17,200 ; $112,600 1 Plus: ; Tax In accordance with the requirements of the Goods 1 and Services Tax Act 1985 estimated 1 on the service supplied from October 1, 1986 to be $5630 $118,230 The proposed expenditure will be met by a Dog Control, Fee, of $37.00 for all dogs In the following Local Authorities: Runanga Borough Council Grey County Council Greymouth Borough Council Hokitika Borough Council Westland County Council i PLEASE NOTE: Additional 1 Fees An extra charge of $13.00 per ’ dog will be added to the Dog ’ Control fee on dogs not regls- ' tered by May 1, 1986 for the 1 ’ 1986/87 year, except for first registration. Legal Action will be taken against dog owners falling to register their dog(s) by June 1, : 1986. Replacement Discs will cost 50c on application to the Local Authority with whom the dog(s) was/were originally registered. Attention Is drawn to the following provisions of the Dog Control and Hydatids Act 1982 which deal with Change of Ownership, Transfer of dog(s) and age of dog(s) for registration. Where a dog Is sold, destroyed or transferred from one Hydatids Control District to another, the owner of that dog must notify the Local Authority within 14 days of . that change. Every person who owns a dog 3 months and over shall make application for Registration of the dog(s) to the Local Authority, in whose district the dog(s) Is/are originally kept not later than April 1,1986, on the official registration form which, lists the above and other Important requirements under the New Act.
