PA Wellington The preliminary inquiry into the loss of the Soviet cruise ship the Mikhail Lermontov began behind closed doors yesterday with the interviewing of senior ship officers. Two senior Ministry of Transport Marine Division officials, Captain Stephen Ponsford and Mr Eric Galloway, took - evidence.
