Hunt for haul unsuccessful
Several Christchurch houses were searched yesterday by detectives investigating the burglary of the New Zealand Scene tourist shop early on Wednesday morning.
None of the haul, which included clothing and jewellery valued at more than
$60,000, was recovered in the searches.
The police would like to hear from anyone who saw people acting suspiciously near the Armagh Street shop late on Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning. Any information would be treated confidentially.
