PA Auckland Ringo Starr, the former Beatle, bearded and in a black-and-white shirt and jeans, went before the cameras for a sparkling performance yesterday. . Usually a good mixer, the cordial clown of the Liverpool lads declined to give Interviews or be photo-4* graphed by any cameras V
other than those of his client. Ringo was accompanied by his wife, Barbara Bach, an actress. Ringo was filmed on location at Stillwater, on the Weiti River 40km north of Auckland, for commercials for Schweppes. He will spend a week shooting two commercials to be shown on Japanese television. "•
