Pressure on Quill directors
Shareholders opposed to Quill Humphreys, Ltd, the Christchurch-based liquor — merchant, dealing in South "I African wine, are maintaining their pressure on the company when a further extraordinary meeting will be held this morning. The meeting, requested by anti-apartheid shareholders under the provisions of the Companies Act, is being asked to consider a resolution to set the company to end importing and selling South African goods. _ An extraordinary meeting ~ was held on December 9at the request of anti-apart-heid shareholders, who asked for a report on the company’s dealings in South Africa over the last three years. ___
