Canterbury 134 (T. Watts 48; A. Finlayson 5/50) lost to Hawkes Bay 163/8 (K. Musson 66 n. 0., C. Atkins 21).
Wanganui 147/8 (H. Dougherty 54, P. Langdon 23; D. Bell 4/22, M. Thompson 2/ 35) lost to North Shore 149/9 (L. Officer 79, P. Sullivan 13; H. Dougherty 3/28, D. Maher 3/44).
