Appointee must be a duly qualified Medical Practitioner and be registered or eligible for registration by the N.Z. Medical Council and should possess sound clinical and administrative experience. The superintendent shall be responsible for the provision, control and direction of the Board’s medical services at Te Pula Hospital, which has a 36 bed general ward and eight bed maternity unit.
