Reporting to the General Manager, the appointee will be responsible for all routine company accounting functions, including the preparation of general accounts and the provision of reports and recommendations to management. Special projects and systems development will also be undertaken. Substantial professional support will be provided. Given the probable term of the initial contract and that a full 40 hours may not be required each week, this position is likely to appeal to a recently retired senior company or chartered Accountant. The experience and ability to rapidly assimilate established systems and assume responsibility is an essential pre-requisite. The. company is offering substantial remuneration and is sufficiently flexible to consider a range of proposals in order to attract the services of a suitable person.
