South Islanders will have their first opportunity to see the fabulous Archibald’s BMW, driven by Trevor Crowe, under racing conditions at Wigram on Sunday. Crowe, who is second in the New Zealand saloon car championship standings prior to Wigram, hopes that the car’s superb handling will enable him to match the powerful Commodore of the championship leader, Graeme Bowkett, on the fast Wigram circuit.
