Executive selected
Rada Corporation, the new investment arm of NZ Forest Products, is about to appoint its chief executive. One of the directors, Mr Lyn Papps, said the field for the job had been narrowed down from three to one and only the financial package negotiations had to be decided. When NZFP launched its SIOOM prospectus last month, many analysts held off from assessing the potential of the company until the chief executive was named. The importance of the position is crucial in investment companies because the performance rests so strongly on the decisions of management. Mr Papps said that Rada has been trading successfully in the interim with the chairman, Mr Bob Gunn, acting as the chief executive. The chief executive is a New Zealander, who will be named “shortly.”
