Forest Service, PO Box 495, Dunedin by 2 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 1986. Brief details: BERWICK FOREST: To log and load 25,000 cu. m (r) of sawlogs and approximately 1000 cu. m (r) of arlsings per annum for an initial 4 year period. The first 18 months equipment required - tractor or skidder and loader. Thereafter a hauler will be phased In to replace the tractor/ skidder. HERBERT FOREST: To log and load 14,000 cu m (r) sawlogs plus approximately 500 cu. m (r) arlsings per annum an Initial 4 year period. Equipment required - hauler and loader. Only those contractors who submit their names will be forwarded full details of contract and asked to submit written tenders to log and load at a price per cubic metre for the first twelve months.
