India wins hockey
NZPA-AFP Dubai, United Arab Emirates India, last in the Champions Trophy in Perth last November, has won a fournation invitational hockey tournament in Dubai after drawing, 2-2, with Pakistan in the final match. Both India and the Olympic silver medallist, West Germany, which drew, 3-3, with Great Britain earlier in the day, had four points from a win and two draws but the Indians had a fractionally better goal differ-
ence, 7-4, to the Germans’ 86.
