Barbed wire ‘prison’ to go
PA Auckland The Army will soon remove three kilometres of barbed wire that it strung around' the Armed Services corrective establishment at Ardmore while it housed Dominique Prieur awaiting trial for the Rainbow Warrior bombing. The establishment is under the control of the Army camp at Papakura, several kilometres away. The camp commandant, Major John Webb, said that the Justice Department had handed the establishment back to the Ministry of Defence.
