Public Notices IfortyCixincl REFUSE COLLECTION CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR WITHIN THE BUILT-UP AREA COLLECTION during the holidays will be made as follows: Christmas day collection will be made on Tuesday, 24th December. Boxing Day collection will be made on Friday, 27th December. New Year’s day collection will be made on Tuesday, December 31st. The day after New Year’s day will be made on Friday, 3rd January. All other days’ collection as normal. Shop refuse will be carried out on Friday of each week. IN THE RURAL AREA COLLECTION on Fridays as usual. DISPOSAL FACILITIES THE Christchurch Metropolitan Refuse Station will close at noon on Tuesday, 24th and Tuesday, 31st December and will be closed on Christmas day, Boxing Day, New Year’s day and 2nd January. Normal hours, details of which are available from the Station - Parkhouse Road, 486-612, or Ruru Road - 844-245, will be observed on all other days. J. D. Annan, County Engineer.
