Canty winner sold to Australia
By J. J. BOYLE Just From Beechwood, winner of three races for Messrs C. T. Burrows and Duncan Clarkson from Dave Kerr’s stable, has been sold to Australia. He will be flown from Auckland to Melbourne on December 28 and will join the Epsom stable of lan Hutchins.
A lightly raced five-year-old by Beaufort Sea, Just From Beechwood won at his first two starts last season and after striking a dull Catch in his next few starts ounced back to win at Riccarton last February. His sale to Australia was negotiated by Mr Rob Fielder, of Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd.
